38" of 1/4" ribbon

J/10 crochet hook

Instructions: This pattern is made using three strands of yarn together. Beg ch does not count as a stitch. Wind strands into three equal balls, use three strands together as one throughout pattern. Do not join, do not turn unless otherwise noted.

Rnd 1: (right side) ch2, 4sc in 2nd ch from hk. (4sc)

Rnd 2: 2sc in ea sc (8sc)

Rnd 3: 2sc in ea sc (16sc)

Rnd 4: 2sc in ea sc (32sc)

Rnd 5: *sc in first 3sc, 2sc in nest sc; rep from * around (40sc)

Rnd 6: *sc in first 4sc, 2sc in next sc; rep from * around (48sc)

Rnd 7: sc in ea sc around, join with sl st to first sc, turn. (48sc)

Rnd 8: ch 2, working in front loop only for this rnd, hdc in ea sc around, join to top of first hdc.

Rnd 9: work in both loops from now on, ch 2, dc in same st, dc in ea hdc around.

Rnd 10 - 13: Rep Rnd 9 (48dc)

Rnd 14: ch 2, dc in same st, ch2, *sk 1st, dc, ch2; rep from * around, join to top of first dc.

Rnd 15: ch 2, 2dc in same st, *4dc in ch2 sp, 2dc in next dc; rep from * around to last ch2 sp, 4dc in last ch2 sp, join to first dc.

Finish off & weave in ends.

Weave ribbon in ch2sp of Rnd 14, tie in bow.

Optional: glue flower or some other decoration to center of bow.
